When I'm blue...

...I go dark places. Not emotional ones but places not everyone likes to go.

I love cemeteries. I could walk there for hours, touch tombstones and make up stories about the people who dwell there. Especially the ones who don't get visitors anymore.

The cemetery feels ceremonial to me. I want to have a picnic, dwell in the places that are meant for sitting and listen to the history of the world and my city be told in the voices of people long gone but not forgotten. At least not by me.

  1. Neat pictures. I always have dreams about tombs and cemeteries, oddly.

  2. Those stories you make up should be collected...you may have a short story collection all set up

  3. I once had a picnic with my mother in a cemetery, by mistake. Once we realised where were sitting we legged it out the place as quickly as possible. Turned me off my roll completely. :D

  4. I like cemeteries too. Arlington is my favorite. Even little kids feel the respect in the air.

  5. Baby Puppy is begging to go to a cemetery. Preferably, at midnight. Playdate?

  8. I find the m interesting because they have such histories...
I remember going to one after senor prom and well my girlfriend at the time seemed to get well possessed in a kind spooky (not scary way),
But generally, I also like cemeteries.

  11. The old cemetery near my route is missing all of its statues and angels. I don't know if thieves took them all, or if the city removed them to save them from thieves, but either way it makes me sad.

Whitemist, possessed gf's are very common, I hear.

  12. If it makes you feel good why not but here it would be too eerie to visit the cemetery.

    Nice shots there :D

  13. The only creepier thing I can think of is a guy coming up to you in a cemetery with a bag full of his hair.

PG, nice photos! I haven't been to a cemetery since my best friend's funeral. It's been a few years, and I should probably go back and visit. Do you and your camera wanna join me....or maybe Rabies??
