As the road
dips and bends,
He reaches out
to take my hand
which looks so perfect
within his.
He smiles.

For hidden
beneath the touch
is the feeling
and the sense
that perfect
belongs to us.


How to capture bliss?
In a moment such as this
it’s at stoplights
with a kiss
and smile.
