  2. Lovely handwriting. I'm a guy, so that pretty much rules me out on that.

Dreaming of flight. Here's a secret for you: I dream as much about climbing invisible rungs in the air as I do actually flapping or soaring.

Thanks for stopping by my page.

  3. I have those stories - the beginnings, the endings, even some of the middles... some opening paragraphs.
But I freeze at the thought of putting them down on paper (or the computer). Because what if once they're out, they're nowhere near as good as they were in my head???

  4. I can't wait to see the story! And yes, you have beautiful writing. Mine, on the other hand, looks like a chicken grabbed a marker and fucked up.

  8. Very nice penmanship!! Sounds like an interesting story. How much time do you need? You could find 10 minutes a day, no? :-)

  9. I know this feeling VERY well indeed! As you know, when I was part of a family, my writing got pushed aside, though i did write a few short stories in the 90s.

Nowadays, it is just me, and everything ELSE gets set aside in order to write. I can't wait to see what you will do with your wonderful ideas!

  12. Thank you for the compliments on my penmanship. I think.

Joey - TEL ME! What did you learn? What are my secrets??

I wake up in the morning with a new chapter or two every day. It just seems difficult to find enough time to put pen to paper before they begin to fade.

Preface. He sees her name in his inbox and his heart pauses dramatically for a moment. He thinks about the possiblities the message can hold and savors every one of them. So far, she has never let him down. He takes a deep breath and closes his eyes as he opens the message...

  15. Most of the bloggers I know that had a book (or long story) in them, had to take time away from blogging and really concentrate on writing. But..most of them say getting published is VERY challenging.

On the other hand, you could start out just writing it for yourself, with no expectations and see what happens.

Thanks for the linky info, you 'splained it in a way even I could grasp. I tested it out on my blog, and like "magic" it worked!
